Dinner Time

So I asked my son to smile for the camera and instead I got a full on narration of the true goings on on his plate. 

It went something like this: "it's a dinosaur, daddy (in his hand). And these (on the plate) are his cars. It goes round and round (the plate) and round and..." At this point he pauses to take a bite and continues to narrate, this time for the dinosaur, "oh no! My leg!!!! Ow oww ow! Help my leg! Oh no!!... Round and round on the cars... My legggggg!!" All the while he is laughing at the fate of this poor, recently amputated, dinosaur apple slice. All I can say is he doesn't get this stuff from me... ;)

Something I wrote

So... Here's something I...am writing. Technically it's something I wrote because it's on paper, but it is a work in progress. I tried to get the audio posted as we'll but I can't seem to figure it out... Oh... If you are wondering why it's written so big, it's because my phone camera doesn't focus on closups to well.

A mess

This is my mess. And what a mess! Every time I go out to the garage to get something it's like playing one of those hidden object games! I'd clean it up, but SO much more fun this way... :[

What a gloomy day. Turenchal rain, thunder and lightning, dark sky all around...

Yet behind it all, even if it is only seen for a moment during the storm, the sun is still as God intended - it is the light that rules over even the darkest of days. And it is a wonderful thing to have the sun break through the clouds.

And when we see it - if we are open to seeing it - even the clouds that darken our skys will become a beautiful part of life.

Were it not for the clouds, we might never know the glory of the Son.

"I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your steadfast love is great to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the clouds."

Psalm 57:9-10
